Holiday Crafts To Do With Your Kids Over The Break
‘TIS THE SEASON! HAVE FUN WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY MAKING THESE FUN HOLIDAY THEMED CRAFTS OVER THE WINTER BREAK!
As we move through the last week of school, some parents may be panicking wondering what they will do with their kids without the help of Claire’s Day School entertaining and educating through crafts and lessons. But worry no more! We’re here to help you bring some of our craft activity action to your home!
With this list of fun and creative crafts from The Crafty Morning, you’ll have plenty of activities to do with your little one this Holiday break!
1. Paper Plate Ornament
This simple and fun tutorial on how-to make cute, colorful ornaments will provide tons of fun for the whole family! All you need is some bright colored tissue paper to make the polka dots, a paper plate for the base, some glue and a paintbrush to apply the decor! You can add a black box at the top with a ribbon for the final touch.
2. Santa Claus Hand Print Craft
Another fun, but messy, holiday craft for your toddler is to make Santa Claus paintings with your own hand print. Kids love to make things with their hands, and even though it is a messy option, it will be sure to be a hit. Just keep the paper towels close by!
Toilet Roll Chimney
The best part about at home crafts is being able to reuse items you would usually throw away! This cute and fun craft turns those empty toilet rolls into snowy chimneys for Santa to slide down. Although it does require a little more effort, so it may be better suited for children a little older.
We hope you enjoy the Winter break spending quality time with your kids and can’t wait until we get them back for the Spring semester! Let us know if you try any of these crafts with your kids. We would love to share them with the rest of the Claire’s community!
Have a great break and Happy Holidays!
