OUR KIDS HAD A BLAST AT OUR RECREATION OF THE TEXAS STATE FAIR AT CLAIRE’S DAY SCHOOL! CHECK OUT ALL THE FUN THINGS WE DID!

Our Own State Fair at Claire’s Day School!

With the State Fair of Texas opening this Friday, we decided to start the fun early with our own version of the fair at Claire’s Day School. Last Friday in Mrs. Janss class, the kids spent the day learning about the state fair and all things Texas! We worked together on a group project to make a giant Big Tex replica (as seen in the photo below) and learned how to share and work together.

What We Learned

We also learned all the state symbols like the state bird, state flower, state nicknames and more. Then we broke out the paint to paint bluebonnets using both hands, engaging the developing mind and resulting in some beautiful artwork.

Highlights

At the end of the day, we got together and recreated our favorite, popular fair games like milk jug bowling and go fish. The kids played for pretend prizes and even got to eat some fair inspired snacks.

The REAL State Fair of Texas

The real State Fair of Texas opens TOMORROW, and if you are planning to take your kids to enjoy the festivities with your kids, keep an eye out for our blog post next week with tips on how to make the most out of a family trip to the fair!

Welcome parents, and thank you for considering Claire’s Day School for your child’s early care and education!

We are a family owned & operated Parent’s Day Out (PDO) & Preschool, conveniently located in a fabulous north Dallas facility at Northaven Road & the Dallas North Tollway.

Though not a full-time child care center, our hours of operation are longer than typical Parent’s Day Out or Pre-K programs, with the option to attend up to a 7hr (8:30 – 3:30) day & up to five days per week.

If you are interested in enrolling your child for a summer or school year program, we encourage you to schedule a tour to see our facilities and meet the caregivers or teacher.  To do so, please close this pop-up, click on REGISTER on the top right of our website, and follow the link to registration inquiry.  Tours are offered daily by appointment at 10:00 or 10:30.

If you have already toured and would like to proceed with registration, first make sure to familiarize yourself with our parent handbook, as well as tuition policies & holiday calendar for the term your child is enrolling:

If registering* your child for the CURRENT school year (September – May), please review our current school year tuition policies & current school holiday calendar.

If registering* your child for NEXT school year (September – May), our upcoming school year tuition policies & upcoming school year holiday calendar will be available when registration for these future terms opens (usually by late January / early February).

If registering* your child for our SUMMER session, carefully review our summer tuition policies & program dates, which will be available when enrollment for summer term programs begins (coincides with enrollment period for the next school year –typically in late January / early February).

These documents are always available on the DOCS/FORMS section of our website.

*Be certain of your child’s registration, as non-refundable & non-transferable tuition fees will be charged once registration is submitted, as a space in a classroom with limited availability is then reserved for your child.
