Founded in 2004, Claire’s Day School is the culmination of a lifelong dream for owner and director Claire Lee. Established to fulfill her vision of helping children grow to their intellectual, social, and emotional potential in a loving & nurturing environment, Claire’s Day School strives to instill responsibility, curiosity, enthusiasm, self-esteem, and a genuine interest in learning in its students.

A Park Cities native, Claire graduated from SMU with a degree in psychology emphasizing  education. She raised her three children in University Park, and guided the lives of thousands more in her 35 year career as school director.

Claire’s Day School offers care and education for children aged 6mos – 5yrs.  Programs are divided into two categories: Parent’s Day Out (PDO) for children aged 6mos – 2.5yrs, and Preschool for children aged 3-5yrs. PDO aged children have the  option of attending one day up through all five days per week, with any combination in between, so long as space is available. Preschool offers 2-day (T/TH), 3-day (MWF) or 5-day programs. Please click the links above for information on each program.

We are unique in that we offer the option of care for up to a seven hour (8:30 – 3:30) day. By operating more hours than many Dallas area Parent’s Day Out (PDO) & Preschool programs, Claire’s Day School is able to cater to a niche of working parents as a possible alternative to full-time daycare.

Claire’s Day School is honored with a fiercely loyal staff of teachers and caregivers, with the majority having served for five years or more. In a field often plagued by turnover, the longevity of our staff is a truly distinguishable attribute for Claire’s Day School.
